“The natural world has been a profound and lasting source of inspiration and joy to me from a very early age. Your work captures and records those deep connections within me. When I see your photos I am deeply moved by the way you connect with the soul and essence of an animal, a flower, an event in nature.

Your photography is pure and elegant...an art form of the highest level. Your collection of work records life of great beauty which faces many challenges in our times. Your photos are a priceless gift to civilization, and many people will forever thank you for them. I am one of those people.”

- Carolyn Patterson

“What about your artwork is not to enjoy  the subject matter from around the world, the composition and colors, and the technology enhancements. I took a photography course in college and really appreciate the medium and how you use it, whether your pictures are as is or enhanced with software. Beautiful. We have many bird pieces in our home - a wall-mounted montage of framed prints around our TV, one painted plate, statuary, pillows. When we lived in homes where we could feed birds, we fed and watched them all year. Look forward to seeing your updates.”

- Barbara P.

“Aside from the interesting subject matter, the vivid colors, the various types of work...photos, computer aided, watercolor, etc. - which are all great...but they make me happy and have since the first time I was in that dental chair looking at the field of flowers.”

- Tami Zappa

“I love nature and you have such an eye for catching it at the perfect moment.”

- Mary M.

“Your artwork looks alive. The beautiful clear colors I love. Sitting in the dentist chair a picture came across the screen of an eagle with a fish in it's mouth. I thought is that real?  But I know it was. Such a beautiful picture. Last time I was there I noticed the sea turtle, loved it. The glossy prints are really spectacular.”

- Linda M.

“Breathtaking! I wish we would all see the beauty in the world the way you do.”

- Marge Plummer Bramer

“Absolutely beautiful, not only the picture but your writing as well. Thank you for sharing.”

- Robert and Cookie Birch

- Anita Deutsch

"I particularly like pictures of scenery & your photos that look like watercolors. When I was young I painted a lot with water colors.”

 - Evelyn P

“I just love your photos…you capture wildlife in such a way that shows the best of the animal from the grandeur of an eagles pose to a moose rambling through the field. Same with your landscapes…you capture the essence of the beauty around us. Thank you for sharing your work, they are a treasure!”

- Mary Lecy

“It seems like you could always capture that particular moment to take that particular photo and made that into an ART. When I look at any art work, it can always draw me into deep thinking or imagination.

Fox example, one of your photos that is hanging at the lobby in the office: a "forest" without leaves in the late autumn(?), the first look at it, immediately it captured my attention/imagination: it seemed like they are not tree, they were people from all kind of walks, I was walking out from a house with people lined up from both sides, outside the door in front of me, sunshine/blue sky, big open space with all these people looking at me smiling, a whole new world, the hope...the future...the excitement and the unknown adventure....

This morning, I was standing in front and staring at that photo for five minutes, then oops...back to the dentist lobby. See, this is the beauty attraction of a FINE ART. I used to be a guide at the Minneapolis Institute of Art for 10 years (but am currently on leave due to personal matter), staring at fine art pieces is one of my weird but enjoyable habits.

THANK YOU so much for sharing your fine artwork to the world. We love them.”

- Ai-Linh

“Have always loved the nature scenes, brings me to a quiet reflective place. Started admiring these in your office over the years. Then, when you started posting your reflections about the photos, it touched me deeply. I do get that!”

- Alexa Umbreit

“I love art that connects with you; art that captures a split-second moment. The pictures evoke emotion and an appreciation of nature in a unique and satisfying way. Your gallery is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your stories and treasure of pictures.”

- Carrie L

“As one of your dental patients, I have enjoyed your artwork for years. Besides being beautiful, I have found the nature scenes to be calming during dental procedures. As a person who sometimes cuts off heads in my photos, your skill in capturing difficult wildlife shots is amazing! Thanks for sharing it with us.”

- Mary Kroiss

“I navigate primarily toward your wildlife photos. You must have great patience to get the shots that you do, they are so amazing! I also enjoy the nature photos even without wildlife.”

- Nancy H.

“What I love about your work is that it is so REAL. When looking at a nature scene or a wild creature, I feel like I am right there in that spot. Almost as if you can hear the birds in the trees, or the running water of a creek nearby. There is nothing like the sound or smell of walking in the pine needles wood paths of Northern Minnesota to bring you back to comfort and joy. I also enjoy the ocean scenery from trips to Hawaii, California and Florida - so again it's that sense of reminiscence it brings me back to. If my folks were alive there are several I know they would have loved. I had my hopes to see one of your hummingbirds on the list as my sister's birthday is July 4th and she loves hummingbirds. I should have tried to buy one last time I was in the office. I will come back now and then and hopefully buy some. Another dear professional friend of mine lives in the Colorado mountains and after years of being a phenomenal Data Architect (and instructor/consultant) retired into incredible paintings (on par to Terry Redlin). So he is also on my wish list too. My creativity in retirement will be my card making I enjoy so much.”
