Fogged In

A number of years ago I traveled to Afoknak Island in Alaska to photograph Kodiak bears - the largest brown bears in the world. I had a layover on Kodiak Island before my half hour float plane ride to Afoknak the next day. As luck would have it Kodiak was totally fogged in that next morning so with nothing better to do I grabbed my camera and went for a walk. As the fog lifted over the harbor this beautiful scene came to life. One of my favorite photos of the whole trip! And it was a good “life lesson” in resiliency and flexibility. Even though my initial plans of photographing Kodiak bear were hijacked by nature, I was able to use the time I now had to photograph something else that wasn’t as exciting as getting up-close to a large bear, but still provided me with memorable imagery. The road of life doesn’t always go where we plan – learn to adapt and enjoy the new path that has been presented to you.

WHAT ARE ACRYLIC PRINTS?

Included with the order is a cleat hanger, which floats the image 3/4” from the wall.
